Love this cannister set that I picked up thrifting ~ it makes me smile ;-)
Mr. Vintage and I picked up this bread box at a yard sale for $1.00 and he painted it for me ~
Love my jadite ~
I think I'm getting the itch to bake something ~ I made a pot of soup and I think a fresh loaf of bread would be perfect ~
What do you think ~ soup and fresh bread on a cold damp day ~

I think home made bread with butter sounds very good too! I don't make bread as I just be eating it all the time. I love all your vintage things on your countertop especially the cannisters - so springy with the tulips. ReplyDeleteI have the bread box that matches the canisters in your first photo. I think it came from Oklahoma, where my mom is from. If not then she purchased it when they lived in the state of Washington.
I can see that you love jadeite, too. I especially like the color, I am wondering if I should paint my kitchen walls jadeite, just above the white, that color. When we took our kitchen apart for renovation we found that color on the walls underneath wallpaper, actually.
