Good morning ~ I hope everyone had a lovely weekend. Well, as you know, Mr. Vintage and I went thrifting on Sunday and look what we found!
I just LOVE this little chair for my entrance way ~ A little pop of colour ~ that's how it looked when I got home, I plopped it at the back door, but then I made a little pillow for it
I also picked up these little sweeties ~
I don't need another bowl, but I guess I'm addicted to pretty dishes ;-)
What did you do on Sunday ~ I'd love to know
Can't wait to hear from you
(((Hugs)))
Marianne
Wrote a post, read blogs, gardened and not much else. LOVE the chair. All your finds are treasures. Can't have too many dishes! (Or bowls-all considered containers; thus infinitely useful!)

Marianne, Love chartruese and love your little chair. Chartruese is such a happy color and your little pillow is perfect with it. Pretty dishes, too. Good finds and you can always use more dishes. LOL I try to limit myself on dishes.. but don't TRY too hard.
ReplyDeleteHave a good week and a blessed Easter,
Babs
Oh....I love that green chair! I am so in love with old wood chairs.....that is a great color!
ReplyDeleteLove the chair! I picked on up the same color for 1515 and thought that I might paint it...oh No! it looks great and I have it in the kitchen with a pillow on it too, mine has tomato vines on it. Great finds, glad you had a good time!
ReplyDeleteHow delightful to have you visit this early morning!! I didn't expect that little ray of sun, for the whole week is declaring a state of DREAR.
ReplyDeleteAnd that chair!!! I was just offered a choice of tiny pastel buckets by Sweetpea, and I chose the chartreuse, for its Spring-y color. What a find, and what a treasure.
Do drop in again soon!!!

Rarely does a chair make me smile (unless it's been a loooong day at work and it's a super comfy chair) but that one did. It looks like it belongs at a fairytale tea party table.
ReplyDeleteWow, you scored big time! I love the chair and the pillow you made. It's perfect! Don't you love pretty bowls and platters? You found some beauties. Also, I love Scooter's shadow picture a few posts back, and I am in love with all your little kitchen pix. It looks like such a lovely, cheerful room to be in! Have a great week... Donna
ReplyDeleteGreat finds, Marianne. I love your chair, it's a great color!
ReplyDeleteI'm still drooling over your cabinet. What a fun pop of color the chair makes along with it. I agree with Brenda, you can never have too many dishes. Useful and pretty!
ReplyDeleteWell, you saw I had a great weekend for finds too:) Gotta love yard sales!
Take care!

ReplyDeleteOn Sunday I went to church, made brunch, blogged all afternoon (too cold and wet to go out) then went to evening service. I love the chair and of course the dishes - you can eat ice cream out of them. :-) Have a great week. Blessings, Pamela
