my little vintage egg basket ~

Good morning ~

I have had a couple of requests to show my little vintage egg basket that is on top of my new cabinet ~



Mr. Vintage bought this for me one day while driving in his truck ~ he stopped at a yard sale ~ I adore this basket because it is so unique



The basket is wood and it is covered in a very fine fish netting ~



You can put eggs or veggies in this basket and they will not break or bruise and the best part is ~



It folds up for easy storage.  Not that I put it away ~ it's always on display.  It makes me smile ;-)

    Oh, that's a keeper! So unique! I love baskets throughout the house.
    Hmmm... I think just the simple things, like tulips in a mason jar are what make me smile.

    These were from the 80s I had a blue one my sis had a pink one I had it for years wish I had kept it but last year I found a red one just like it and it wont be going anywhere,

    That basket is just waiting to be filled with eggs - I'm picturing you strolling out the back door, basket swinging, on your way to collect freshly laid eggs each morning!

    Well u know what they say about puttin all ur eggs in one basket, lol..........dont do it! I like ur little egg basket. U got chickens?? Im scared of chickens. We use to have a hen when i was coming up, that didnt want u to take her eggs.
