I trust everyone had a wonderful Easter ~ Mr. Vintage bought me something for Easter ~ giggle
You betcha ~ a vintage camper. This poor neglected camper needs a little TLC
Yes, this little camper came complete with garbage and beer bottles. We have been working on our little piece of heaven on and off during the weekend. Mr. Vintage and I love restoring old and making them new. I can hardly wait!
Can I go camping too Mommy?
Yes, Mindy you can go too. ;-)
What is your favourite thing to restore, renew, regenerate?
Hope you have a great day ~
(((Hugs)))
Marianne
It's funny that you would put this post up since yesterday my hubby and I were cruising along and discussing about doing something similar to what you guys are doing! lol..I so love the red stripe on it..What fun you will have and can't wait to see the finished product.
ReplyDeleteMarianne, This looks lke a fun project.. not the cleaning out the garbage part, but the decorating part. Oh, is that a harvest gold stove and sink?
ReplyDeleteHope you had a great Easter,
Babs
oh you are so lucky I have been trying to convince my Mr Wonderful that this is something we should do. I want one! He is not sure we need one. I want a nice vintage small one. Enjoy it!

No, no, no.....your killing me! I want one sooooooo bad! I was just on the web last night looking for one.....I had bought one a couple of years ago, but it needed a complete redo and hubby just didn't have the time to put into it....so we let it go. We want to find one with good bones, just needs some TLC like yours........yours looks great! I want to plant mine here on the property and use it as a guest cottage.
ReplyDeleteSo jealous I wish comment fonts came in GREEN. Love Mindy's pleading to come too. This is our dream as well... all those years we dreaded travel with our human kids now we're scheming of ways to get out and about and take the fur babies along. GREAT Easter gift!
ReplyDeleteMarianne you are such a lucky duck. Awesome Easter present! What a cute little camper! I think it would be so much fun to have one and restore it...Cannot wait to see it all done. Love the orange range and sink. Enjoy! Have a wonderful new week.

Our first camper was a 78 nomad...my honey did it over on less than a shoestring budget. It was adorable. Now I have a 38' Sandpiper and would love to have an oldie but goodie!!
What a darling little camper...sounds like a relly fun project.
ReplyDeleteOh, I'm so jealous! I've been wanting one of those babies forever!

Oh you lucky ducky! I have been looking for something just like this. There was a little camper in town on the corner for sale but it was in such sorry shape I did not think it would ever get road ready. Yours look like it just needs a little tender loving care how fun it will be to get it ready for it first outing!
ReplyDeleteLooks like a great project.I am from NC & just purchased my 1st vintage travel trailer. It's a 1962 scotty sportsman....I'm having a blast redoing it. I would love to see yours finished.Looks great.Never in a million years did I ever think I would be doing a project like this, but this little camper was offered to me at a great price & about to be a empty nester myself,I decided what the heck..I'm doing it really retro inside .Never thought I would have so much fun...Best of luck to you ,Kim D
