Ruby Red Flyer ~

Ruby is her name ~ she still needs a little work, but Mr. Vintage and I accomplished alot this weekend.  I think I heard her say ahhhhh Thank you ~

Here she is being primed

And then ~ a little colour ;-)

Remember the harvest gold ~ no more!

Had to add this little spice rack

We need to know what time it is ~

a little chick here and a little chick there ~

Then, Mr. Vintage surprised me with this ~

A little camper for the camper ~ I love you Mr. Vintage
I still have to make curtains ~ I think red gingham
and the cushion covers, but she is MUCH better
We had fun redoing Ruby !

Do you agree with Red Gingham curtains? Can't wait to hear what you think ~

  1. Red gingham is ok ,,but if ya can find some vintage table cloths I bet you would like them better. Similar to the table cloth on the table. I am so jealous, would love one. Can't wait to see more progress! judy

  2. Oh my goodness dear friend, I must come visit Ms. Ruby...you guys have done such a fabulous job on this sweet beauty queen! I think the red gingham may be a bit much and I agree with what "shabby junk" said, old table cloths like the one on the table or one with various shades of white....a vintage aqua would make the red pop and not overwhelming....Love, love, love it! Xoxoxo

  5. Oh my stars!!!! Ruby is so lovely now! She is gorgeous, I adore that red sink and stove, she must feel so special now all dressed up and wait until she gets her new curtains and yes, red gingham will be lovely. She is just adorable, I want a ruby of my own, we owned an older one once, not that old, but we were fixing her up and then we had to move across country. So we sold her. She wasn't road worthy yet.

  15. Toooo fun! My Grandparents and Great Grandparents all used to have little campers like this when I was little. My grandparents have since upgraded to a fifth wheel! No vintage glamour in that but your comfort level certainly rises. Love the tablecloth too!

  17. I love her name! It's just perfect for her and the work you've done is amazing. I wish my new, little trailer was at the same point. We're working on the outside and making sure she's water-tight before we start on the inside.

Please share what you used and how you did the paint redo on your stove and sink. We are going to change mine from avocado green to yellow. I'd love to know what you did.

    Can't wait to see more.
