They're HOME ~

Good morning ~ Well, we transferred the chicks from their temporary home in the shop to the chicken tractor last night.  They were a little shy at first ;-)

Once, they looked around and realized that we were not going to disturb them ~ well ~



Down the ramp they came...

Let the fun begin ~ peck, peck, peck

They kept VERY busy

What are you doing? It's not time for bed yet~!



Fine, I'll just sit here for awhile

Mr. Vintage and I watched them for quite a while, they are very entertaining.

~ fresh herbs are the best ~ so ... I decided to plant an herb garden in this little vintage stove that Mr. Vintage bought me

They're just about ready ~

They are in their teenage years.  A little awkward and not quite fully feathered ~



Hello little ones ~ they are quite curious too~!

This weekend we are going to probably move them to the outdoor coop.

blogger problems ~ oh no~!

I hope everyone is having a wonderful week thus far ~ I have seen alot of posts about the blogger problem on posting.  Well...I am not a computer genius by any standard, but this worked for me.  I could not comment ~ gasp ~ what?

I found that if you went to sign in, it would put you back to signing in and your comment could not be posted and your comment was marked as "anonymous".  I removed the check mark in the box that said "stay signed in" and I could post ~ voila ~ lucky try. 

Thought I would share this with you all.

All of you are always welcome in my home ;-)

Monday morning stroll ~

Happy Victoria Day ~ It looks like it's going to be another gorgeous day here in Ontario.  We have had plenty of sunshine all weekend.  We played in the garden all weekend ~ it was such fun ~ come take a stroll with me ~

Ofcourse, on the way to the nursery, we stopped at a yard sale and picked up this chair for $2.00 ~

Now I'm off to enjoy a cup of tea in my garden and relax.  Happy Monday to everyone~! ;-)

A beautiful Day ~

Happy Saturday everyone ~!

It's going to be a beautiful day ~ lots of sunshine and warm termperatures.  I am sooo happy ;-)

There are lots of things to do today.  Potting my plants for the deck and front porch.  Putting annuals in my garden.  Playing with the chickens ~ they are almost ready for their coop.

I will share with you a couple of thrifting finds that I picked up this week ~

This pretty platter that I picked up for $1.00.  I love the scalloped edges

This little wagon Mr. Vintage picked up for me ~ I'm going to put flowers in it ~

Mr. Vintage picked up a little vintage toy pedal tractor.  Here is the before (we had a helper modeling it ~ isn't she cute?)

Pretty rusty ~ and then Mr. Vintage worked his magic ~

It's a beauty........After we're done planting and puttering, I think Mr. Vintage and I may go for a ride for an ice cream in the green machine

After all, he did wash it ;-)
