Prayers please ~

I really need your prayers.  Last evening we took Mr. Vintage to the hospital and he has been diagnosed with diverticulitis.  We will be meeting with the specialist tonight to see whether they will be doing surgery.

Please pray for Mr. Vintage that he heals and all will be well~

Ruby Red Flyer ~

Ruby is her name ~ she still needs a little work, but Mr. Vintage and I accomplished alot this weekend.  I think I heard her say ahhhhh Thank you ~

Then, Mr. Vintage surprised me with this ~

I still have to make curtains ~ I think red gingham

and the cushion covers, but she is MUCH better

A spring project ~

I trust everyone had a wonderful Easter ~ Mr. Vintage bought me something for Easter ~ giggle

You betcha ~ a vintage camper.  This poor neglected camper needs a little TLC

Yes, this little camper came complete with garbage and beer bottles.  We have been working on our little piece of heaven on and off during the weekend.  Mr. Vintage and I love restoring old and making them new.  I can hardly wait!

Can I go camping too Mommy?

Yes, Mindy you can go too. ;-)

my little vintage egg basket ~

Good morning ~

I have had a couple of requests to show my little vintage egg basket that is on top of my new cabinet ~

Mr. Vintage bought this for me one day while driving in his truck ~ he stopped at a yard sale ~ I adore this basket because it is so unique

The basket is wood and it is covered in a very fine fish netting ~

You can put eggs or veggies in this basket and they will not break or bruise and the best part is ~

It folds up for easy storage.  Not that I put it away ~ it's always on display.  It makes me smile ;-)

Good morning ~ I hope everyone had a lovely weekend.  Well, as you know, Mr. Vintage and I went thrifting on Sunday and look what we found!

I just LOVE this little chair for my entrance way ~ A little pop of colour ~ that's how it looked when I got home, I plopped it at the back door, but then I made a little pillow for it

I also picked up these little sweeties ~

I don't need another bowl, but I guess I'm addicted to pretty dishes ;-)

random Saturday ~

I hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend ~ it's rainy and cold here in Ontario ~ sigh ~

So I can't take pictures because it's soo dark, so I will share some random pictures with you ~

Love this cannister set that I picked up thrifting ~ it makes me smile ;-)

Mr. Vintage and I picked up this bread box at a yard sale for $1.00 and he painted it for me ~

I think I'm getting the itch to bake something ~ I made a pot of soup and I think a fresh loaf of bread would be perfect ~

I am just playing with my cabinet today.  I had a few old crocks and a cheese box ~

I am just looking for a weathered old wreath to hang on the door ~ maybe grapevine.  I might make one.  There's lots of wild grape vine at the side of the road.
