Yard Sale

Happy Saturday everyone ~ I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend ~

I am going to share with you, some of the goodies we had at our yard sale ~

I just love this chippy little dresser ~ alas it did not sell and I am going to keep it.  Looks like I'll be fluffing my nest looking for a place for it ;-)

I love the chippy paint and the handles are so adorable....

Mr. Vintage and I did this chair together.  I found a new one and this one had to go ~

This sweet little plate was one of the first things to go

I am a dish fanatic, but sometimes you have to let things go (to make room for more, of course)

I also love linens, but you can't keep them all ~

I had a hard time letting this little table and chairs go.  It is so cute

Here are a few more goodies ~

Mr. Vintage and I had so much fun, alot of laughter and joking around with the customers.  It was a very good day.

Tonight Mr. Vintage and I are going to a fish fry out at the lake and we're taking our little camper.  Some of you have asked for pictures of the inside.  You can see them here and here.

Tuesday Treasures ~

Hello everyone ~

My Roses of Sharon are in full bloom and they are just lovely ~ they make me smile

We had a great yard sale and had alot of fun, but I wanted to share with you some of my finds from our camping trip ~

Isn't this bowl just adorable.  I have one in pink milk glass, but I've never seen a green one.  It just screamed "take me home~!"

I couldn't pass up this scale.  I thought it was sooo different ~ thank you Mr. Vintage for pointing this out to me ;-)

These sweet little pictures I couldn't pass up ~ although they ended up in the yard sale.

And this little table cloth I just adore

Hello ~

Hello everyone ~ Last week was so busy, I haven't had time for anything.  I miss everyone.  I must take time to catch up on all of you and your adventures,

I apologize that I have not been around, I hope you understand...

Mr. Vintage and I have decided to hold a shabby chic sale in our front yard this coming weekend.  I think it would be fun ~

I'll take you all with me as usual ~

Fun places to visit ~

Good Morning everyone ~ I hope your week has started off well. 

The top picture is one of the places that Mr. Vintage and I visited.  What a glorious place to shop ~

Here is one of the houses in a little town called Sparta.  Isn't it adorable ~

Then there is this little place.  It sells the most yummy candles.  You can visit them here

The architecture of the houses is just wonderful ~

and look at this lovely little lane that we drove down ~ sigh ~

A lovely weekend ~

I hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend ~
Mr. Vintage decided to take me to Sparta, Ontario camping~!
You know how much I love camping ;-)

The campground is a conservation area and is just beautiful

of course, we need some comforts ~ like our favourite chairs ~

We always take the happy traveler

We always get a copy of the Daytripping Paper to peruse together with a libation ~

Mr. Vintage made wonderful breakfasts for us ~ yum ~

We even met this fluffy little fellow ~

A very special place ~

Happy Tuesday everyone ~ I want to share with you a special place that Mr. Vintage and I visit ~ not as often as I would like...but...

Mr. Vintage has a friend who lives 5 miles down the road from us and owns this beautiful property which is on Cedar Creek (crick as we call it in Harrow).  What a lovely relaxing place to be ~

We love to come here and sit and relax ~ all you hear are birds and the wind occasionally.

We are planning a getaway here with the camper.  No hydro, no nothing (Well, ladies, there is an outhouse).  A complete and total getaway for a couple of days ~

What do you think about a getaway with no conveniences for a couple of days?
