It bloomin' hurts ~

Hello my friends ~  My flower garding is just popping ~

We have had some wonderful temperatures here in Ontario, although it has cooled off quite a bit today.  But I must remember it is March ~

I am so excited that spring is here ~

I would love to get cleaning the garden, but alas, I can't.  Saturday, as I was looking through our freezer in the kitchen, a heavy glass mug fell out of the freezer and landed on my toe ~ ouch ~ it bloomin' hurts.

It is also a nice shade of purple, like my hyacinth ;-)

I had to take the day off work today, because I can't even put a shoe on, let alone walk around ~

So, I guess I'll have a cup of coffee and catch up on everyone's blogs today.  Hopefully, I can get a shoe on tomorrow.

What are you doing today?

Let me know, I think I need some company

(((Hugs)))

Marianne

  6. OUCH! That must have hurt! That happened to my friend. Twice! Once with a frozen pop bottle of water and a turkey. I hope you can get a shoe on tomorrow. If the weather was warmer you could wear a sandal. Your photos are so pretty. I can't believe how far ahead you are there. It was so hot here last week but this week it's back to normal. Take care my friend. Hugs, Pam

  17. Beautiful flowers. So sorry about your foot. I had something similar a couple of weeks ago. A can of beans fell off the shelf and on my toe. I thought I broke it. I couldn't move it forever and it turned purple and swelled up, but it's okay now. Hope your foot gets better soon. Take care.

  19. Oh dear! So sorry to hear about your poor toe, and to miss work for it, well, maybe that's a good thing.:) I have a bit of a stomach virus, so I'm laying low today, I really need to run to the store for bread and coffee, but I'm not going to anytime real soon.
Your garden looks lovely, I don't have any blooms as of yet, but, several things are poking their heads through the soil. So exciting!!! More every day.
I hope you are enjoying your day!
