Hello my friends. It is sill dreary here in Ontario. The temps have risen to 36 F, and all the lovely snow is melting. We have not seen the sun for quite a few days ~
I am not going to let that get me down. I decided to share with you some sunny warm memories ~
I love lilacs, don't you? I can hardly wait until their blooms appear once again at the side of our porch so that I have take in their heavenly perfume ~
The tulips are presently sleeping, but once awakened from their winter slumber, they will once again show their beautiful faces ~
My bleeding heart will once again show me hers <3
Such a beauty and her perfume is glorious ~
My favorite rock will once again bloom as well ~
I wonder where the fairies go in the winter?
I hope you enjoyed the little bit of warm weather and sunshine that I have shared with you today ~
Is it warm where you are? Is it sunny? If it is ~ enjoy
(((Hugs)))
Marianne
So funny. It was dark and dreary here and as I was reading your post the sun came out. That's amazing. Sun helps a lot on these depressing days. Hope it stays warmer there. It is warmer here as well but going to get cooler. Hope not as much as it was last week.
ReplyDeleteDebby ~ so glad you stopped by. Yes it is warmer, but the farmer's almanac predicts much colder temps ~ I need spring ;-)
DeleteJust for tye record, my young daughter thinks the fairies come inside in the winter and live in her dollhouse :). Thanks for the flower pics! Perked up my day!
ReplyDeleteDiane ~ I think you daughter may be right. They might live in her dollhouse or under her bed ;-)
DeleteOh such a beautiful post, made me want to garden, Francine.
ReplyDeleteHello Marianne
ReplyDeleteYour garden photos are beautiful! We are at +10 here on Vancouver Island so no complaints today. I hope your weather warms up in the coming weeks. Take care and keep warm!
You have a lot to look forward to!
ReplyDeleteI hope you'll stop by my blog tomorrow and take in the sunshine.

ReplyDeleteI love lilacs!! The scent is heavenly!! I can hardly wait. The only problem is they don't last very long. Thanks for sharing the beauty of flowers!

These pretty summer flowers are so nice to see in the dead of winter. Thanks for sharing your photos today. Here it is milder. It was +5 today and +10 last night while it rained. Our snow shrunk and the wet turned to ice. Still lots of snow and I'm sure we'll get lots more yet. Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteLook at your pretty little fairies! Maybe they fly south for the winter....I think I saw some here this week! And that looks like an old high chair in the snow! How neat! Stay warm my friend and enjoy your week! Warm hugs!
