A friend is like a comfy old home that welcomes you every time you see them
Someone to relax with and feel safe when you are around them ~
~ someone you can rely on ~
Someone who makes you smile when you are down ~
Someone you share everything with ~
and MOST of all someone you can trust ~

A friend to me means someone who has your best interests in mind, someone who truly cares about you, someone who tells you the truth, someone who is happy when you are happy and sad when you are sad. Thank you for sharing with us!

ReplyDeleteThese photos are absolutely beautiful! I smiled as I went through them. A friend, of course, is someone exactly like you! Someone who holds you up when you are down. Someone who tells you what you want to know, instead of hedging. Because you know your hearts are united.

I think you have covered it quite nicely. My best friend and I talk about friendship frequently. I posted about our friendship sometime last year. We are completely polar opposites and yet I can't imagine not having her as my best friend. Hugs, Bonnie

ReplyDeleteSince moving up here to Canada, I have reconnected with my high school and college BEst Friend. It was through her brother actually that I met my hubby.
Now we are doing things as a couple.
Don't know what I'd do without her.
A friend is someone who loves you despite all of your faults. It's also someone who will be completely honest with you no matter what.

Yes, it's all of those things and more.

A friend is all of those things you said. I think a true friend accepts you completely (the good with the bad) and a good friend knows what you need when you need it.
