I haven't seen Zote in a long time. What a sweet gift! Thanks for the recipe, too. I will bookmark it. The jar will look cute on the cabinet the hubby made over.
ReplyDeleteHave a nice weekend! ~Michelle
It is packaged cute! Let us know how it works. I've often thought about trying to make my own - but wonder if is is really much cheaper.
ReplyDeleteJoyce ~ just wanted to let you know that it does work well! and you only need two table spoons per load, so it is economical

What a sweet friend! I've heard that the homemade stuff is so much cheaper and works great, but I have a front loader and don't know if it would work or gum up the works, so I've been afraid to try it.
ReplyDeleteLove the packaging! I think Ball jars make the best packaging for homemade gifts. Thanks for sharing.
Traditional soap smells so good. I've a bar of pink carbolic that takes me back to school days but it's really good to use in the kitchen.
ReplyDeleteI have never heard of that soap and homemade soap sounds fun. great useful gift.

ReplyDeleteI keep thinking I want to make my own soap. Just haven't gotten around to it yet. Cute idea!

ReplyDeleteI am sick today I woke with the ickies and I am doing laundry because if I don't it it gets away from me.~Cheers Kim
AND IT"S PINK!!!! Does pink homemade laundry detergent make laundry chores more fun? I may just have to make some (for my hubby) LOL!!! He would die, he's our laundry person around here. But yours is so pretty, I could just let it sit on the shelf....then again I've developed this little itchy problem that I am blaming on the detergent we use because it's only where my clothes are touching me. Hmmm...beats running around with no clothes on too!! LOL!!! Seriously, that is a sweet little gift and gorgeous jar. I'm trying this out for real. :)
ReplyDeletefun laundry soap!! Have a great weekend. what a sweet gift.
