Laundry Day ~

My sweet friend Karen went to Mexico ~ LUCKY her ~ she brought back some "Zote".


She came over the other day and brought me this ~ what a lovely gift!  Home made laundry soap ~

A beautiful cabinet and a blogger award~!

Good morning ~  A little while ago, when I first started blogging, I showed a rusty old cabinet that Mr. Vintage and I purchased at a yard sale.  The poor thing ~

As you all know, Mr. Vintage is a very handy man to have around.  He worked and worked on this cabinet and now I MUST show you ....

It turned out beautiful.  I am going to use this cabinet in my laundry room~ I am so blessed ~ and speaking of blessed, Sabre at Heirloom Gypsy gave me the versatile blogger's award ~ thank you Sabre ~!  I am sooo thrilled.

Now, I must list 7 things about me...

1.  I LOVE to garden and can hardley wait for warmer weather~!
2.  I Love to cook especially out of vintage cook books.
3.  I Love to go thrifting, well, that's no surprise ;-)
4.  I Love to bake treats for my family
5.  I ABSOLUTELY ADORE Mr. Vintage.  He's the BEST
6.  On my quiet days I love to sip tea and read magazines ~ Flea Market Style, Victoria, Romantic Country Home etc.
7.  I am absolutely stunned at how wonderful all of you bloggers are ~ you are all so sweet ;-)

Mommy's still working on her chair ~ sigh ~

As you can see, I'm having a very bad hair day and Mommy wanted me to host her her blog today, but my hair!..... instead, I'm sleeping on her favourite pillow...
