Mr. Vintage is up to his old tricks again ~ we picked up a little cabinet at the Treasure Hunt and he surprised me with this makeover ~!

Isn't this cabinet just so retro and sweet? ~ almost musical ~  I want to keep it.  Mr. Vintage wants to sell it ~ what should we do?

I LOVE Daddy too ~ but sometimes, men just don't understand ~

I'm going to look for squirrels now ~ I'm not saying anything ~ I love you both.

A bedroom redo ~

Hello everyone ~ Happy Tuesday.  I hope your 4th of July was enjoyable ~
I have wanted to do "something" with our bedroom and just didn't know what.

Here is a picture of our bedroom before

Didn't like it ~ so......

I decided to paint the bed ~ thank you Mr. Vintage for being soooo patient with me.

Here is the finished product ~ just a little makeover ~



I am so happy that I made this little change ~ what little changes have you made that make you smile ;-)

Sharing my Treasures ~

Good morning everyone ~ I hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend ~

I thought I would share with you some of the treasures that Mr. Vintage and I picked up at the Heritage Village Treasure Hunt ~ I have been looking for red and white enamel pots and pans for our little vintage camper ~ well ~ I hit the jackpot!

This one is perfect for corn on the cob ~

Aren't these sweet? ~ and then there is ~

~ last but not least ~

I also got a few big blue and white pots ~ Imagine ~ all of them for a mere $10.00.

I also picked up these sweet little hangers ~

Aren't they just adorable?  The Treasure Hunt was so much fun and we met so many wonderful people that Mr. Vintage and I are going to do it again in September. 

A special thank you to Claud, who is the caretaker of the Village.  He was a most gracious host and showed us around.  He is also a very witty man and made us all laugh and smile ;-)

Laundry Day ~

What is it about laundry snapping in the breeze that makes me smile;-)

I love doing laundry ~

Especially when I'm laundering vintage linens ~

Are you ready ~ ?

Good morning everyone ~ Well, the day has finally come.  It is time to leave for the Treasure Hunt at Heritage Village.  Are you all packed and ready?  We're leaving soon

Mr. Vintage has the camper hooked up and ready.  The food is packed away.  We're all set.  A few of my friends have asked for a sneak peak at the camper.  Well ~ I finally made curtains for the camper ~ out of red gingham tea towels.

I really like the way that they look so comfy and campy ;-)

The weather is supposed to be sunny and in the mid 70's.  PERFECT weather for a Treasure Hunt ~ don't you think?  At night, it is supposed to go down into the high 50's ~ hmmmm, I think we'll be sleeping very well ~ especially in this little comfy bed

Well ~ time to go.  Let's get rolling ~ we're going to have some fun, fun, fun ~

Anticipation ~

Happy Tuesday everyone.  I have been MIA for a while.  I apologize, but Mr. Vintage and I are getting ready for the Treasure Hunt ~  Yay ~ so much to do.

I still have my flowers to tend to ~

And my chickens to feed ~

and I must get the camper ready to go ~ I love that new awning.  I also made new curtains....I will show you another time...Can't wait to go to the Treasure Hunt ~ !

and you my friends are coming with me ;-) 
We will walk along together and see all of the treasures that this event has to offer.  Are you packed and ready to go?  We leave Friday you know ~
