Happy Sunday my friends ~
Today is a gloriously sunny day. Mr. Vintage and I went to a yard sale ~
I picked up this little milk glass vase for 10 cents. Sooo I had to put some lilacs in it. I LOVE the smell ~ don't you?
My next door neighbour has white ones. I asked if I could pick some ;-)
I put these ones at the front door. Nothing like a bouquet of lilacs that says "welcome".
I saw this and just had to have it. It was cheap cheap cheap. All the things that I am about to show you cost a total of $10.00. I won't show you the tools that Mr. Vintage picked up which was included in the price ~ Mr. Vintage can start his own blog about "tools". tee hee, that would be funny
I put my vintage umbrellas and walking sticks in the crock by the front door.
I bought two of these little chairs. Now, I have to put some flowers on it. Perfect ~
The other one is in my kitchen. They are so sweet ~ I couldn't resist.
This little table cloth was in pristine condition, I just had to have it.
This little metal stool was perfect for my oversized jar in the kitchen.
Well, that was one great yard sale. We had fun ~
Now, Mr. Vintage is waiting for me. He wants to take me to a new antique store ~ yeeeee ~ I am squealing with delight.
What are you doing today?
((((Hugs))))

All looks so nice . My Lilacs are a bit slow this year but I to love the smell of them and bringing them in to the house ! The weather has been wonderful this weekend ! Have a good day !
ReplyDeleteAlas, my lilacs have come and gone. We had very early warm weather in Missouri. What a terrific vintage haul! The Rock Star and I went to a City-wide garage sale yesterday. I'm just learning the ropes, but I managed to find two cute little curio shelves and a tulip magazine rack for less $20 total. I'm pretty stoked about that! Now I hope to find a venue for all my vintage and handcrafted goodies. I sell on Etsy but I'd love to find a cute antique and gift mall to sell in. Hope the rest of your day is as happy as the morning has been! Blessings, Linda
ReplyDeleteWOW! What a wonderful vase and of course I love that little red chair! Looks like Spring is bringing some good sales! I'm relaxing today and baking a birthday cake for my mother in law! I can't eat any because of the sugar but it sure is making the house smell good! Hugs!
ReplyDeletewow what a great haul. Our lilacs are just buds right now so it will be awhile before we can pick some.
