Happy Birthday to ME ~!
Hello my friends ~
Well, today I am a little older, a little wiser and a little giddy ~ today is my birthday. I am now oh gosh, can I be? 54 years old. My, my, my how time flies ~ I can still remember being in my early twenties. I still feel the same. Well, with a few more wrinkles, I think I still look the same.
As a birthday present to me, I made this ~ with the help of Mr. Vintage
I just thought this was so darned cute ~
Well, my friends, I am off to celebrate another year. Have you created anything lately? Please do tell. You MUST tell. I love it when you share with me.
Have a wonderful day
((((Hugs))))

Mommy, can I come in and give you a birthday kiss?
Yes, Chessie, in a minute, but keep your nose off the window please

I have missed you ~
Hello ~ I have sooo missed you my friends ~
We have been busy, trying to sell my ex-husband's house (how I HATE that word). He left my daughter in a total mess, with tons of bills and alot of worries. We have been trying to take a little of the load from her, as she is only 23 years old.
I have been scrubbing, washing, fixing up the house that he left behind ~
This is what is looks like now ~
Unfortunately, he was a VERY sick man and the house went to ruins. The grass was two feet high, the gardens were a mess (full of weeds). I have been working every day, getting there every day after work and trying to make the house presentable. I was exhausted and had to take a break from blogging. Mr. Vintage has been the usual sweetheart and has done as much as he can in his present physical condition.
We are trying to sell it ourselves, we have had a bunch of lookers but no takers. I'm just about done. Time to list it ~ We have tried, the best that we can ~
Hopefully, we can sell it soon and take the burden off our shoulders.
BUT ~ after all the work was done there ~ Mr. Vintage surprised me.
He has a BIG, BIG, surprise ~ I will show you soon ~!
I promise
I really miss you my sweet friends

Thriftin Sunday ~
Happy Sunday my friends ~
Today is a gloriously sunny day. Mr. Vintage and I went to a yard sale ~
I picked up this little milk glass vase for 10 cents. Sooo I had to put some lilacs in it. I LOVE the smell ~ don't you?
My next door neighbour has white ones. I asked if I could pick some ;-)
I put these ones at the front door. Nothing like a bouquet of lilacs that says "welcome".
I saw this and just had to have it. It was cheap cheap cheap. All the things that I am about to show you cost a total of $10.00. I won't show you the tools that Mr. Vintage picked up which was included in the price ~ Mr. Vintage can start his own blog about "tools". tee hee, that would be funny
I put my vintage umbrellas and walking sticks in the crock by the front door.
I bought two of these little chairs. Now, I have to put some flowers on it. Perfect ~
The other one is in my kitchen. They are so sweet ~ I couldn't resist.
This little table cloth was in pristine condition, I just had to have it.
This little metal stool was perfect for my oversized jar in the kitchen.
Well, that was one great yard sale. We had fun ~
Now, Mr. Vintage is waiting for me. He wants to take me to a new antique store ~ yeeeee ~ I am squealing with delight.
What are you doing today?
((((Hugs))))
