This little delight hangs on the wall by my kitchen sink and makes me smile quite often while I do dishes ~
A little spring vignette on my mantel ~
I picked up this plate at our local thrift store for a dollar ~
These sweet little pillows always make me smile ~ I wonder why we love pillows so much...
A sweet little african violet which I transplanted in this tea cup ~
Soon the fairies will be flitting around my garden ;-)

Soooo springish.....love it all! I have not brought out my sping decor yet, just haven't caught the fever yet with this weather.....maybe this week as temps are suppose to warm!
ReplyDeleteI like the spring vignette on your mantel and those pillows are precious!!!
ReplyDeleteThe pillows are so sweet along with everything else. I love all of your pieces and it is dull and dreary here in New England.

Lovely...spring is in the air here in South Texas and the project list is growing by leaps and bounds. Enjoyed stopping by...
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful little fairy! She looks like she is ready to fly away...and spread some fairy dust! I just put some pearls in a little dish on my dresser...I like what you've done with the jewelry box! I'm going to look at that again! And did you make the pillows? They are beautiful! What made me smile today? I bought new washcloths and put them inside something vintage that I got this week! I'll show you soon! Hugs! ♥
ReplyDeleteI love all your pretties. The pillows are darling. I love them too. I think we like them so much because they make things look so cozy.
ReplyDeleteSo many pretty little things and so many smiles.
ReplyDeleteEverything is pretty but the little pillows are my favorites. The look so sweet and cozy. Have a great Sunday.
Hi Marianne! Well I'm still watching the I Love Lucy marathon, so you know I'm smiling! I love all your vignettes and birds. The pillows are darling! I have a few that are a combination of shabby fabric and vintage chenille, too. They're just so charming, aren't they? Have a wonderful weekend!... Donna
ReplyDeleteSo cute-------I am thinking about what I can do on my mantle and around the house. Daylight savings time starts tonight----it must be spring.
ReplyDeleteLove the pillows and the African violet with cloche! Looks like you're are ready for Spring. I bought some yellow tulips and put them in my blue Ball jars! Just the little things to cheer the house.
ReplyDeleteHope your weekend is good :) Michelle
Marianne, I think we're all ready for Spring to rescue us from the dull drums of a long dreary winter! I think a little sun is what we all need to brighten up our lives and bring out our smiles! But until then, anything we can do to our beloved homes to make us smile is truly wonderful!Your vignette is beautiful! Like my cat, I can hardly wait to sit in a sun beam and feel it's warmth...Awhhh!Thanks for visiting my blog and your sweet comment! Hugs, Debbie @ Cottage Hann~Me~Downs
