Happy Saturday, my dear ones ~ How is your day going?
My Hibiscus is loving the shade of the front porch in these scorching temps ~
I am trying to save the rest of my potted plants, they don't like these high temps, even though I water every day ~ sigh ~
This poor little thing didn't make it. I might leave it there for visual interest ;-)
I decided that I would buy some flowers for the inside of the house ~ I love flowers, don't you?
To me, flowers make our house just feel so much more special ~
And so does this little cake plate. I picked it up at an estate sale. I just love the ruffles ~ can't wait for the temperature to cool so that I can bake a cake ~
Love the hobnail bottom ~ so cute ~
It's so hot Chessie won't even go outside. He's moping.
Cheer up Chess, this won't last long~!

Mr. Vintage surprised me last night when I came home from work. He stopped at a yard sale and guess what he bought?
This little blue enamelware coffee pot ~ I just love it!~
Complete with lid ~ He also bought me this ~
This little white one will go in the camper ~

Hello my friends ~ First of all, I want to wish all my American Blogger Friends a Happy 4th of July week. Have fun, stay safe and enjoy ;-)
I thought I would share with you some of my treasures that I have picked up this weekend ~
This was a tin topped kitchen table and Mr. Vintage cut it down for me and now it is my coffee table. I just love it ~!
Can't hurt this table. You just wipe it off. Love it ;-)
I love this little chippy dresser. Mr. Vintage and I picked this up and left it just the way it was. It's now in my living room and holds by candles and my table cloths and napkins.
This little green chair was perfect for the little corner of my kitchen ;-)
A few little treasures for my little high chair. I finally got around to painting this chair. I found it at Pat's yard sale.
It was Canada Day yesterday so we have the day off today. I am going to finish my laundry and do some fluffing ~

Happy Sunday everyone ~ Mr. Vintage and I were gone camping for a few days of rest and relaxation ~ ahhhhh ~ it felt so good to get away ~
If you remember, I bought an iron bed at a yard sale ~ well, I have it all set up in my new bedroom and I love it ~

Happy Saturday everyone ~
Last time, I told you Mr. Vintage was up to something with these ~
Well, I have always wanted a farmhouse table or harvest table if you will ~ Mr. Vintage picked these pieces of lumber up out of the garbage ~ yep, out of the garbage.
Then.......
He did this ~
Then it was like this ~
And now ~ it looks like this ;-)
We picked up the little side cupboard at a yard sale and Mr. Vintage put a top on it to match the table ~
Ofcourse, I had to add a few things ~
And I moved a few things around ~ you know how it is ~
I also swapped out the curtains for a softer feel. I picked these up at St. Vinny's for $2.00 ~
I love my new/old farmhouse kitchen ~
