Here are the nice ladies who run the thrift store (Remember, I am your best friend ~ tee hee!)

This is what we looked at today.....

I know someone at Daisy Cottage who would like these...

Such lovely linens

This dress is sooo cute

I thinik I should have picked this up. I could use it next year in the Christmas vignettes!

O.K. I had to buy these ~ they're adorable!

Oh La La!  Where could I wear this?

Thanks Ladies SO MUCH for letting me show my blogland friends my thrift store!

Tell me, do you like thrifting?  I can't wait to hear from you

  2. Tom and I went to town today to get a light bulbs and a plate for a little chandelier I purchased before the holidays... As soon as we get it installed I will share it... I have been look for one for quite awile and everything I wanted was just too much for my budget so I found a sweet one on ebay and will love it...I love thrift shopping but will be keeping it in check this year unless I just can't live without it and I have found I can live witout many mnay things... It's a mind set... I will be having a garage sale with many girly things this coming June maybe.. I will go through these couple months and see if I can part with more than I already have priced ready to go... Then maybe I will feel I can buy a few treasure here and there... I love so many of my objects however and don't want to rid of them... We have a chilly but sunny day here... Just a nice winter day... I would like to find more antique buttons with rhinestones and just pretty ones and store more in jars on display for easy cleaning but still on display...Just little treasure of eye candy... Enjoy your time with friends...

  4. Yes, I have found a new love for thrifting. I am going to go back and look for more books to fill in my bookcases. One dollar a book is a great deal! I love that vintage linen you showed.

  7. Wow, that is a great thriftstore. I am afraid most of ours just carry a lot of junk, I'd never find so many treasures in one visit.
Good luck with attacking that basement of yours. Looking forwar to seeing what you have done with it on Gitter Done!
    Greetings, from your namesake
