Delicious!

Yesterday, I had a ME day  ;-)

I read and relaxed ~ I love my magazines....I could read and re-read them time and again...

And I put my new little chippy rooster, a thrifting find, up on the shelf with my other chickens...

I also drank some of this...

Hubby made dinner (thank you sweet heart).  Then I made a pineapple upside down cake..Yummy

What a delicious day!  Do you take time to have a "Me" day every once in a while?  I think they are VERY important.  If you do, tell me about it...I'd LOVE to hear from you.

ME ;-)

  4. Hi Marianne,
I take them "me" days quite often actually. I am a stay at home wife, I keep my house right now and that is about it, so I can take a me day whenever I want to.
I very much enjoy your blog. I adore anything vintage, so I think your rooster and chickens are very nice!

  6. Oh everyday is a me day...a me, him, them, us. I just try to breath and enjoy the moment. Three deep breaths and I am good to go again. Also my better half and I have our own homes... we live an hour apart so we spend half the week together....that helps a lot!

  10. Thanks so much for stopping by the Back Porch.

I love those roosters! I was tempted to add another one to my collection the other day, but resisted. I am sort of regretting the resistance!;-)

  12. I LOVE Me time, It's SO self gratifying AND YES mine usually involved favorite Magazines. I started categorizing them and instead of putting them away in years I put them by months, SO I can take out the PILE of January's OR February's. This is the best part of LOVING vintage. NOTHING in the magazines goes out of style!
Love you blog, I'm your NEWEST FOLLOWER... I'm hoping you will choose to FOLLOW ME TOO!!!
Your little doggie is TOO CUTE!!!
    Hugs to you,
