A New Year is almost upon us ~

Hello my friends ~ I am sitting here with a delicious vanilla candle enjoying the aroma with a hot cup of tea ~

Chessie is having a nap ~ so I am quietly reflecting on the New Year that is almost upon us ~

The New Year can be whatever we make of it ~ It could be a year full of wonder ~

A year to create ~

Maybe a year to learn how to sew ~

A year to learn how to knit ~

A year to learn how to relax and smile ~

A year to love and be loved ~ and a year to learn how to LOVE yourself ~

A year to weigh what is important and what is not ~

I hope whatever you choose to do in the New Year, you soar like a bird ~

What does the New Year mean to you?

((((Hugs))))

  1. thinking about things that have happened over the year, losses of a friend, a cousin and my puppy. But then I look through my year in pictures and I am oh so grateful for my time spent with family. just hoping 2012 brings more joy than sorrow...but then I think we all wish for that.

  3. One thing I do is look back on the friends I've made that are especially important to me, and you are certainly one of them. Loved the photos with the words!
