Christmas stockings ~

Happy Sunday everyone ~

I don't have my tree up yet, hopefully this week, but I did hang my Christmas stockings and my salt dough icicles on the Mantel ~

My wonderful neighbour Karen made these Christmas Stockings for me out of an old chenille bedspread that I had ~  I just love them

Ofcourse, I had to add a little vintage bling ~

These salt dough icicles are VERY easy to make and they are rolled in glitter.  I love the way they sparkle in the sunshine ~

I am keeping it very simple this year ~ I am very busy taking care of Mr. Vintage ~ he does so much for me ~ I need to nurse him back to health ~ I LOVE you Mr. Vintage.

Last year Mr. Vintage made these little rustic stars for me ~ I just mentioned that I liked them when I saw them in a shop and the next day ~ there they were ;-)

I did put up my little tinsel tree ~ I don't know whether I will decorate it or not ~ I kind of like the way it looks now ~ what do you think?

Well,  I must be off ~ Mr. Vintage needs me.  I will be back to show you our tree.

Have a wonderful Sunday ~

(((Hugs)))

  1. I LOVE old chinelle bedspread - never thought of doing stockings from one. Since I have 2 bedspreads waiting to be used for craft projects, i am going to have to give that some thought :)

    CHRISTmas Blessings!

  3. I kinda love it all - the stocking is amazing, just beautiful, love love love it! The icicles all a-glitter, beautiful. The tree with the candle, etc. in front of it - love it the way it is, but it may be even more beautiful decorated, we can't be sure until you show us :) Get well wishes to Mr. Vintage and thanks for making the gorgeous star last year - without being asked!

    Hugs,

  8. How sweet of you neighbor to recycle you bedspread, love the stockings. Had not heard of salt dough icicles, but will look them up on the net. Would be fun to make. So many cute ideas and so little time before Christmas.

  10. Hello dear Marianne,
I love the tinsel tree just like it is. What a sweet husband you have, to make you the little vintage looking star. My hubby used to do that when he had a workshop. Yes, you must nurse that man back to health, you need him to live a long healthy life.
Hugs to you, my friend. Cindy
