Let's Play House ~

It's a beautiful sunny Saturday morning ~ I feel like playing
;-)

Some of you wanted to know what I was going to do with the little vintage children's hangers that I picked up last week...well..... I am playing

I just love these vintage baby clothes ~ they are sooo sweet aren't they?

the delicate embroidery ~

I have a special weakness for vintage play things ~ I put them in the corner of our bedroom ~ they make me smile

I even have a little Mindy in the doll bed.  She has her own teddy bear ~

How are you going to play today?

Hope your Saturday is filled with love and laughter ;-)

  4. So pretty, I am going to play with my chickens. :)
I have new straw for their nest boxes and lots of cleaning. I love to watch them after I put them in their clean house. They go inspect everything and then they take dust baths. :)

  5. I love your vintage clothes and toys! We had a doll carriage just like that and boy did we have fun strolling along the sidewalk with our dolls inside all covered up. The little bed is sweet. I still have dresses, coats, and rompers that were my sister's and brother's saved in the hope chest. I also kept my kids first cute outfits which are over 30 years old now - almost vintage! LOL Have a great weekend. We're playing at shovelling the foot of snow we got yesterday! FUN!

  13. Your sweet little vintage corner is divine! The little lamb on your little crib is adorable! I collect little vintage kitchen gadgets for my Granddaughters little cupboard!...Now, if truth be known, it's not because I know she'll notice and be tickled,(and she is). I think you've probably guessed, I'm a bit like you, in that I adore vintage childrens toys too!!! Not too long ago, I found Lulu(and I) a doll sized chenille spread...Swoon! Happy treasure hunting! xo Debbie @ Cottage Hann~Me~Downs

  16. Hi Marianne...what a lovely post. The little outfits hanging from your shelf are precious. The boy outfit looks very much like what I dressed my son in when he was baptized. (He's 24!) It's boxed away and I should probably get it out. Thanks for visiting my blog...I appreciate your kind words. Hope this week is warmer in Canada...~Ann

  19. I "played" with a craft project. I love little wee clothes like that. I use to have a laundry room in an old house and I hung them in there. I wonder where they got off to...

  21. yes, we agree! That baby's crib is darling! Mom has an old christening gown hanging up in one of her guest rooms upstairs - it is neat to have things like this around & decorate with!

  24. How precious! Love that old buggy and linen baby dress. Funny about those hangers. My Mom had some with my baby sister. She's 29 now, so I guess her baby things would be vintage! Man I'm getting old!

Thanks for stopping by and entering our Jazz giveaway. Good luck and have a wonderful week!

  26. Hi, my friend -
I'm trying to catch up a bit and just love what you shared. You and I would have a real problem thrifting and shopping together - we love the same things!

I love old children's clothing and sweet, little toys. I have a shelf in my sewing room that to be redone. There are cute, little dresses hanging on it but there is room for more. And I have them!
