Getting back to normal

I decided today to put some of the christmas decorations away.  I usually leave them out until New Years Day when everything gets put back in their storage containers.  Here are some random shots

Here is a little corner in my kitchen

The top of my kitchen cabinet is back to normal

AND I found this lovely potpourri which was on sale of course. I think I will leave this out all winter, it smells divine...

I love the way the light is dancing on the potpourri

I also found this faux mercury glass candle holder which I love ~ I may keep this out all winter too.  It has a lovely vanilla scent.

I will leave my mantel for now.  I love to sit in front of the fire with a cup of tea and look at the lights.  So soothing.

Have you put your Christmas decorations away?

Can't wait to hear from YOU....

  1. Hi Marianne, Your kitchen corner is just adorable - I love the combination of turquoise and red. I'm ready to pack up my Xmas decor--it seems like I was just manically getting it all out and photographing it!
