Sunday Sharing ~
Happy Sunday my friends ~
As you know, Mr. Vintage and I have put our house up for sale and there have been several couples through the house. Wow, it's alot of work putting your house up. Clean, clean, clean at a moment's notice. But, it's all good ~ it's time to downsize and I am looking forward to it.
Well, yesterday we had two showings and Mr. Vintage and I had to leave the residence. So, Mr. Vintage asked me whether I would like to browse through our favourite thrifting stores ~ yes~! yes~! and YES~!
I spotted something out of the corner of my eye ~
Isn't this footed bowl just lovely?
Love the pattern and the delicacy of the painting ~
I looked and yes, my friends, it's Limoges. I picked her up for $4.00 ~
When I got to the check out, there were three little books that had no covers. I asked the lady how much they were and she said "We're throwing them out, they have no covers". She gave them to me. Now I have them resting on the coffee table. I will do something with them ~
I thought I would also share with you my violets. They are blooming again ~ I so love afican violets and speaking of which ~
I also want to share with you my little wall flower Sophie ~ She is such a little princess ~
She loves to nap ~
What are you doing today? Treasure hunting? Thrifting? Napping? ~ please share with me ~
I'd love to hear
((((Hugs))))

I can sympathize with you on the stress of moving. The Rock Star and I have moved several times during our marriage. You are so fortunate to have Mr. Vintage to distract and entertain you during those trying times when you have made your home look PERFECT and then you have to leave for a showing!
ReplyDeleteGood Luck!
Linda
I wondered if you are still planning on moving. I dread that day should it ever come! I am biding my time before I head to church this morning. Have a blessed day!
ReplyDeleteWow, what a gorgeous limoges pedestal dish! Great find. Trust the selling process of our home goes smoothly.

ReplyDeleteI especially love that snuggly little kitty. But you did get such a pretty little bowl. What a great find.
ReplyDeleteBest of Luck with the Sale of your Home! We have sold twice and I hate it.Strangers in and out of your home and cleaning, cleaning. Ugh!
ReplyDeleteSweet lil bowl for sure, Enjoy!
It is Sunday and I should be going to Church but may not get there today.I am Cooking most of the day. My Mr. is going Elk hunting and my daughter and family are coming over for dinner and then there will be lots-n-lots of dishes for sure.
~Cheers & Blessings Kim
Those books for free were a lucky find!!! I love the footed bowl, too. Good luck in selling your house, and with down sizing.
ReplyDeleteMy hubby and I are on the west coast visiting our kids, so I'm off to church and visiting with friends today.
Have a great day.
Hugs, cindy
The bowl is so pretty. Like your little princess, I took a nap this afternoon after a bit of cooking. Good luck with the sale of your home.
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad you had time to visit some of your favorite places and enjoy your time together.
ReplyDeleteI really hope that your house sells soon and that you end up in your dream house. I see you there with all the beautiful things that you've collected!
ReplyDeletehave a great week, K
oh my! the limoges is gorgeous!!! {but that pink nose and those whiskers...they take the cake!! ;}
ReplyDeletem ^..^
That is one of the most beautiful bowls I ever seen! I *love* Limoges. I can't believe you found that for $4. Now that is a steal!
ReplyDeleteSophie is such a pretty little girl. You mentioned on my blog that she was going to be "fixed" soon and that they would be sending her home with a cone to wear. When I had Clementine "fixed" a couple of years ago, they didn't send her home with a cone, and she was fine. Sophie might not even need it.
Such a beauty of a dish! And books with no covers for free! Fun weekend. Well, minus the house showing. I have only sold a house twice, but that part was so hard for me. And each one sold on the first day! Thank goodness or I might have been a wreck!
ReplyDeleteI'm catching up on my blog reading since my internet has been out for 3 days. Love your little wallflower...so sweet. The Limoges piece is gorgeous...what a steal!!! Good luck with selling your house!
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute kitty. Love you little books, mostly the Fifi one since one of my bunnies is named Fifi...lol.
ReplyDeleteSorry you had to say good bye to VG camper but you got a fabulous one instead.
Lynnie
I've gotta say, people like you are making me enjoy vintage more and more! And please give Sophie a pat for me. Sweet kitty!!!♥
