Happy Sunday ~

Yesterday, was cold, dark and damp ~ so, yep you guessed it ~ I made soup ~ mmmmm ~ down home soup

My grandmother's old fashioned meat ball soup ~ ofcourse, you have to have home made bread with it ;-)

Would you care for a bowl?

During the day, Mr. Vintage and I took a ride and there was what?  Yes~~~!!! a yard sale ~  well,  I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE cookbooks ~

This little beauty cost me 50 cents ~  and it it filled with wonderful desserts ~

Perfect time of year for these ~

This looks absolutely yummy ~

So light and airy ~

I also picked up this little beauty ~

It goes so nicely with all my pink milk glass ~

What are you up to today?  Looking at this cook book, I think I will bake something ~ hmmmmmm ~ what to bake?

No matter what you do, I hope you have a wonderful day

  1. Well Marianne, your meatball soup looks so very delish! As you know, I made soup for dinner last night too. David is in a golf tournament today and I am blogging away and I am also trying to come up with a menu for dinner. Any ideas??? I am menu challenged today!

  5. Meatball soups sounds yummy on a cold damp day. My son actually makes a good chicken soup and brought me a container of it yesterday. It was quite tasty. He's a pretty good cook I must say. The sun shone today and it is about 17 deg. C. so that is pretty nice for this date. I hope you have a great week. Blessings, Pamela

  16. I have been meandering through some of your posts and they are full of charm and loveliness. You are making me want to go into the kitchen and bake bread. Nothing smells better than warm bread in the oven, and nothing tastes better than warm bread from the oven :)
I found you through mutual followers and I hope that you will become a mutual follower, too.
