Chilly~?
Happy Sunday my friends ~
Well, yesterday was a lazy day. There was a chill in the air soooo, I decided to make chilli ~
And home made bread, ofcourse ~
It was yummy ~
Would you like a bowl?
I also tweaked my little reading corner. I picked up this chenille bedspread at the local consignment shop yesterday and just decided it was going to become a slip cover for my chair.
I love chenille, it's so cozy
Then, I decided I was going to make this ~
Yes, I made a sweater pumpkin~!
I think it turned out o.k. for my first attempt ~
Then, Mr. Vintage came home and he brought another treasure home with him, sigh ~ he's the best ~
Mr. Vintage found this little chair in the scrap bin at his friend's house. I just love it
It was a wonderful day ~
Monday is Thanksgiving. We are going to have turkey and stuffing with all the trimmings. Britt and Frankie will be coming for dinner ~
Happy Thanksgiving to all of my Canadian blogging friends

Happy Thanksgiving, Marianne. We are celebrating tomorrow with all the family coming for a feast. Your table looks very sweet and I love the little pumpkin. Must get going with my cat-sitting and then prepare the dining-room. I love the Fall, too. Beautiful time of year. Enjoy! Deb
ReplyDeleteHello Marianne, table looking great. Mr. is a keeper for sure, love those old motel chairs, have only one at the lake, and I have the same little stove, I took out the inerds and placed a candle inside, looks so pretty shining through all the little the holes. Enjoy family at this wonderful time, Blessings Francine.
ReplyDeleteYour Mr. always does so well! Happy Thanksgiving to you. Monday for us is Columbus Day. But I am off on vacation anyway. Love the chenile throw, made a great slip cover.

Marianne, Your home looks so lovely and cozy for the season. LOVE that metal blue and rusty chair. I'm not sure my husband would view that as a treasure and bring it home. And I'm wanting a bowl of that chili right now on this rainy cold October day! Yum!
