Camping ~

Hello everyone ~

It has been so long since I last posted, but, unfortunately, my vertigo reared it's ugly head once more ~ sigh ~

I have been trying to relax and get through this.  Stress is the trigger ~ so we have gone camping ~ so relaxing.

Here is the campground in early May ~

We have a beautiful spot on top of the hill.  Mr. Vintage likes to think he is King of the Hill ~ hmmmmm, does that make me Queen?

Now it is like this ~ quite filled out.  Don't you think?

My flowers are doing beautifully there ~

and we have lots of little birds to watch

They are so beautiful.

and of course, humming birds ~

I'll be back soon ~ ahhh just looking at this makes me smile.

Have you been relaxing?

Can't wait to hear ~

Now I'm going to catch up with all of you!

(((Hugs)))

  10. Marianne, may I pick your brain a bit? I have enjoyed reading through your blog and it was the fact you haven't blogged much due to VERTIGO. I have had several bad bouts of Labyrinitis with severe vertigo, starting in Sept 2012 when I was on jury duty and in the courtroom I had to stop the trial as the room was spinning and I felt faint (this was a Friday). I went home, and Monday got into doctor and was out sick for TWO WEEKS and had mini bouts. My company does budgets for multiple shopping centers this time of year and I have been told stress can 'bring it on'. My doctor suspects Menierer's. I had 2nd very severe bout of Labyrinitis (and little days of 'the woozies' off and on but I was able to suffer through work, which is hard as it is 99.9999% computer work, 9-10 hrs a day) again in Oct 2013, then a 2nd bout in November and danged it I didn't get a 3rd bout in December. And then I got Labyrinitis AGAIN with vertigo 1st week of March this year. I am on different meds (including daily meclizine, Claridin every night, a nasal spray every night) and so far I had had minor 'woozies' but haven't lost any more time off work but autumn always seems to be a trigger for me during the budget crunch and I was wondering..... when you get hit with vertigo, how long does an 'episode' last for you? What type of treatment are you doing? Would love to hear from a fellow sufferer.

  11. Hope you had a chance to relax and unwind on your camping trip. We love camping too and just got home from our last trip of the season. We're in Maine and most of the campgrounds we like close in October. So the little Casita is cleaned up and stored for another year. So sorry about your vertigo...that must be so difficult. Hope you are feeling better by the time you read this,
    Cheryl
