Happy Sunday everyone ~
Yesterday, after the snow stopped, Mr. Vintage and I decided to take a ride to the nearby Town of Amherstburg. We had heard that there was a new Vintage shop there ;-) You KNOW, how we love Vintage ~
Well, I must say that the owners of Re-inspired/Vintage, Mr. and Mrs. Grant are VERY nice people and they have all kinds of vintage goodies in their shop. I will definitely be back.
Here are are few vintage goodies that we picked up ~
Mr. Vintage decided we need this fireplace screen in front of our fireplace. I just love it.
I don't like the brass on our fireplace and this hides some of it. We will be redoing the fireplace this spring.
I just loved this little bird cage ~
and the linens ~ Oh my, there were such lovely linens. Mrs. Grant's daughter lives in England and she sends these lovelies to her ~ sigh ~

I was VERY happy that we stopped by. Well, the next time we visit I will definitely take you along ~

Hello everyone ~ It has been soooo cold outside that Mr. Vintage and I have been staying inside ~
Eating warm hearty soups and stews ~ Just perfect to warm your belly ~
Chico is trying to stay warm too. He snuggles right into his blanket ~ and when he's not snuggled, this is his favourite place to be ~
He loves to sit on the furnace grate and feel the heat.
Now, I am off to my favourite little consignment shop. I'll brave the cold ;-) Chico you can't come with Mommy, it's too cold outside for you. Just wait for Mommy, I'll be back soon

My how time has flown by ~ I can't believe how long it has been since my last post
Mr. Vintage and I have been very busy ~
Trying to stay warm ~ it has been so cold ~
Mr. Vintage and I made sausage ~ yummy ~
But mostly, I have been busy with Chico. A little puppy is a lot of work, but he's also such a joy
He loves to play and he loves to snuggle ~
He makes my heart sing ~ I adore this little boy ~

Hello my friends ~ I have been feeling a bit under the weather. I have a flu which has been going around and it's not pretty ~
Just thought I would tell you how much I miss all of you ~ and share a little surprise. Mr. Vintage brought me home something that I have been wanting for a very long time ;-)
Let me introduce you to Chico. He is nine weeks old and absolutely adorable. I have wanted another little dog since my Mindy passed. This little guy was going to be disposed of as the owners could not sell him. We found out and went to see him.
He is 1.5 pounds and we bonded immediately. He won't leave my side. (Yes, my friends, he is wearing a sock). He is always cold and we couldn't find a coat small enough to fit ~
He loves his racoon ~
I am in love ;-)
Now I'll go back to bed and rest with Chico.

Well my friends, it is the end of another year ~
The Christmas decorations are put away for another year ~
I am so looking forward to another wonderful year of visiting all of you in blogland ~ I am also looking forward to all of the creative inspiration that we can share ~
