Happy Saturday, my friends. I have been busy cleaning and fluffing our cottage.
I thought I would share some random images with you today. My garden is starting to grow quite nicely.
It is chilly and damp in Ontario today ~ so the chilli is cooking ~
The bread is rising ~ yum ~
and my garden is popping. Just about perfect, don't you think?
Can't you just smell the lilacs? I must pick some today to bring that fresh smell into the cottage ~
My bleeding heart just loves these cooler temps ~ it really makes my heart sing ~
Chessie loves exploring in the garden ~

Hello my friends ~ It's rainy, cold and damp here in Ontario, so Mr. Vintage and I went for a drive. Well lo and behold ~ could it be? Yes! Yes! a garage sale ;-)
We couldn't help ourselves, and these are the little pretties that I picked up ~
I picked up this little flower pot for 50 cents. Once, I got it home I realized that it's a Fitz and Floyd ~
I love the shell and coral detail on the sides ~
Then, I spotted these ~
I love old keys. What is it about old keys that is so appealing? Well, I really lucked out on these. I asked the lady how much she wanted for them. She told me "take them". They were a gift from the nice lady.
Then I picked up four of these for $2.00. I love to drink iced tea and an occasional glass of wine out of these. It just makes everything taste better and feel so elegant.
Well, the other pretties that I picked up are being laundered, so I will have to share them with you another time.

Hello my friends ~ I hope your Easter holiday was wonderful. Today is my baby's birthday ~ well, not such a baby anymore ~ sigh ~
I just want to say that I am so proud of Britt. She has gone through alot with losing her father recently and she is trying to get through University through all of this pain ~ But she is a strong woman. All 23 years old. She is going through some tough times....but I will be there.
I will help you ~ I will be there whenever you need me ~
I love you honey ~ HAPPY BIRTHDAY ~

But ofcourse, shells from Florida. They are so pretty ~

Hello my friends ~ My flower garding is just popping ~
We have had some wonderful temperatures here in Ontario, although it has cooled off quite a bit today. But I must remember it is March ~
I am so excited that spring is here ~
I would love to get cleaning the garden, but alas, I can't. Saturday, as I was looking through our freezer in the kitchen, a heavy glass mug fell out of the freezer and landed on my toe ~ ouch ~ it bloomin' hurts.
It is also a nice shade of purple, like my hyacinth ;-)
I had to take the day off work today, because I can't even put a shoe on, let alone walk around ~
So, I guess I'll have a cup of coffee and catch up on everyone's blogs today. Hopefully, I can get a shoe on tomorrow.

Do you think Spring has arrived?
Everything is waking up from their slumber ~ the birds are singing and the trees are popping ~
The crocuses are blooming, the iris are peeking up out of the earth and the tulips are reaching for the sky ~
It has been over 70 degrees for the past week ~ so I decided Spring has arrived. I have put the chairs back on the porch and Mr. Vintage and I have our special spot where we have coffee every morning ~
Right here ~
How glorious to be outside again ;-)

Good morning everyone ~ I think Spring has arrived. We have had sunny days with 65 degrees F. I so love spring
It is a time of renewal and hope. A time where everything is waking up and fresh ~
Mr. Vintage surprised me today. I came home and there she was in all her glory ~ I think you remember Ruby ~

Well, I was so darned excited, I swept her out, dusted and washed her down and made the bed... then...
YES, we slept in the camper last night ;-)
